Afterward is a B2B software platform for licensed wellness businesses. We do not sell, dispense, ship, or fulfill medication of any kind.

Treatment is determined solely by the physician.
The pharmacy is independent.
If something is prescribed, the prescription is sent to an independent, state-licensed U.S. pharmacy, which dispenses and ships directly to the patient. Afterward has no ownership interest in any pharmacy.

The invitation.
Your team invites a member from the portal.
Intake.
The member completes a health intake online through a private link.
Lab work.
The member completes lab work. Your team sees where it stands, never the lab reports.
Physician review.
A state-licensed physician evaluates the member’s intake and lab work, then helps build a plan.
The physician’s decision.
Treatment is determined solely by the physician. The physician can approve a plan, decline, or ask the member a question.
If something is prescribed.
If something is prescribed, the prescription is sent to an independent, state-licensed U.S. pharmacy, which dispenses and ships directly to the patient.
Completing an intake does not guarantee a prescription.

State-licensed physicians. Every review is done by a physician licensed in the member’s state. Their role is to review members in the program, not to supervise your staff or act as your medical director.
Your business pays Afterward a recurring platform fee for the software. Members pay Afterward a program fee for the physician-led program they join, and they see it before they authorize payment. Lab work has its own fee. We share platform pricing on a walkthrough. All fees are in US dollars.
That depends on your state’s rules, so it is a question for your own counsel. We’ll walk them through the model. Your business offers the program and keeps the relationship. Treatment is determined solely by a state-licensed physician.
